Call for Hosts for ICA Forum 2027

Call for Hosts ICA Forum 2027

The ICA Board is pleased to invite ICA member universities to express their interest in hosting the ICA Forum 2027. The ICA Rectors and Deans Forum brings together representatives of Europe's life science universities to exchange knowledge, discuss strategic developments and strengthen collaboration across the Association. Hosting the Forum offers an opportunity for an ICA member university to showcase its institution and region, bring together colleagues from across the ICA network, and contribute to shaping the programme and discussions around key issues for life science universities.

Who can host the ICA Forum?

The call is open to ICA Full Member universities interested in hosting the ICA Forum 2027. A full list of ICA Member Institutions can be found HERE.

The host university would work closely with the ICA Secretariat and ICA Board on the organisation and delivery of the Forum, including the programme, logistics, communications and participant arrangements. The Forum is expected to include a combination of plenary sessions, thematic discussions and opportunities for networking and exchange, as well as a field visit, with the detailed format and programme covering two days of event.

What does hosting involve?

The host university would be expected to:

  • provide suitable venues and facilities for the Forum;
  • support the organisation of the programme and local logistics;
  • coordinate local arrangements in close cooperation with the ICA Secretariat;
  • support communication and outreach to participants and relevant stakeholders; and
  • work with the ICA Secretariat and ICA Board to ensure the Forum reflects the objectives and priorities of the Association.

Further details on the expected organisational and financial arrangements will be discussed with interested member universities as part of the selection process.
