How to reach Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW)
The Workshops will be held at the Water Center (Jana Ciszewskiego 6, Warsaw) of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). Full details of how to reach the Water Centre will be given in the joining instructions sent to you one week before the event. The IKAR hotel is on campus and the other hotels are close by.
However, as the Workshops will start at lunchtime on Wednesday 26 April guidance is indicated here for travelling direct from the airports or train station to the SGGW campus.
1. From Chopin Airport
by taxi – estimated time 20 min, Chopin Airport to SGGW Water Centre (Jana Ciszewskiego 6)
by public transport – estimated time 40 min. Take bus no. 148 (direction Wiatraczna): from the bus stop Terminal Autokarowy 02 to the bus stop Ciszewskiego 04 at the SGGW campus
2. From Modlin Airport
by taxi – estimated time 1h from Modlin Airport to SGGW Water Centre (Jana Ciszewskiego 6)
by public transport – estimated time 1h 45 min
- take the airport bus: from the Modlin airport to the Modlin railway station
- from the Modlin railway station take the Koleje Mazowieckie train to the Warszawa Centralna station
- then take the Metro (direction Kabaty): from the metro station Centrum to the metro station Służew
- then take Bus no. 193 (direction Ursynów Płn.): from the bus stop Metro Służew 01 to the bus stop Ciszewskiego 06 at the SGGW campus (bus stop on demand)
3. From Warsaw Central Railway Station
by taxi – estimated time 30 min. Warsaw Central Railway Station to SGGW Water Centre (Jana Ciszewskiego 6)
by public transport – estimated time 40 min.
- take the Metro (direction Kabaty): from the metro station Centrum to the metro station Służew
- then take Bus no. 193 (direction Ursynów Płn.): from the bus stop Metro Służew 01 to the bus stop Ciszewskiego 06 at the SGGW campus (bus stop on demand)
